[Training] Rice Planting Training Conducted

Following last year’s program, we held a rice planting training session on May 15. This training is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of the importance of ingredients and our commitment to providing safe, reliable products by visiting rice-producing regions and interacting directly with producers. This year’s program also included a tour of the JA Lake Shiga Yasu Agricultural and Economic Center, further enhancing participants’ knowledge of rice production. Participants shared positive feedback such as, “It was my first time planting rice, and it was a lot of fun,” and “I had the chance to talk with colleagues I hadn’t interacted with before.” We are also planning to hold a rice harvesting training session in early autumn. Through hands-on food-related training programs like this, we aim to strengthen awareness of the importance of delivering safe and dependable products.
